VOISIN MALIN
Voisin Malin was created to respond to the isolation experienced by residents of priority neighborhoods who lack empowerment in their living environment. Voisin Malin works to harness the skills of these individuals and boost their ability to take action while improving their day-to-day lives through services delivered by local operators. The organization employs “smart neighbors” (in French, voisins malins) who inform and support residents regarding a range of topics (including housing, fuel poverty, healthcare and social rights, education, culture, and employment) mainly on a door-to-door basis.
The Groupe SEB Fund is providing Voisin Malin with financial support to develop and recruit more “smart neighbors” in Villeurbanne, where the organization set up activity in March 2017 as part of the Territoire Zéro Chômeur initiative.
